The same source indicated that Al-Ittihad will launch the second phase of preseason preparations upon arrival in Spain tonight, after departing King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah on Tuesday morning, with the camp lasting until July 31. The source noted that 14 foreign players accompanied the delegation to Spain: Serbian pair Predrag Rajkovic and Carlo Simic, Cameroonian Stefan Kiler, Portuguese Danilo Pereira, Albanian Mario Mitaj, French duo Moussa Diaby and Kosseem Kone, Portuguese Roger Fernandez, Moroccan Youssef En-Nesyri, Malian Mohamedou Doumbia, Nigerian George Ilenikhena, Venezuelan Bryant Ortega, Argentine Mateo Borel, and Spanish Unai Hernandez. Algerian Houssem Aouar, Hassan Kadesh, and Saleh Al-Shehri are expected to join the squad in Spain after the end of their vacation, which was granted to them for their participation with the Algerian and Saudi national teams in the 226 World Cup finals. Al-Ittihad will play its first friendly during the camp next Tuesday against South Africa's Orlando Pirates, followed by a match on July 25 against Spanish side Las Palmas, with other opponents to be determined in the coming days.
