Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu revealed that Turkish club Besiktas has made an offer to Egyptian national team star Mohamed Salah to join the club, with indications suggesting that an agreement between the two sides is close and sudden.

The Turkish journalist wrote on his X account, which has over two million followers, that Salah has expressed willingness to reduce his financial demands in order to join the Turkish club.

According to this information, Mohamed Salah initially requested an annual salary of 15 million euros, but he lowered the figure during the first meeting with representatives of Besiktas.

However, the most notable development revealed by the Turkish journalist is that the Egyptian star's lawyer arrived in Istanbul, suggesting that a legal framework for the transfer contract is near.

Media reports over the past weeks indicated that the English Premier League legend and Liverpool star has received "strong, massive, and tempting" offers from Saudi Arabia over two years, in an attempt to convince him to move to one of the Roshn League clubs.

Mohamed Salah's agent, Ramy Abbas, stated on Friday: "We still don't know where Salah will play next season, but we might find out very soon."

Developments regarding Salah's future accelerated after the Egyptian national team's World Cup journey ended with a controversial loss to Argentina in the round of 16, accompanied by Egyptian accusations against the refereeing, and featuring a high technical level from the Egyptian team, which maintained its lead over Argentina for most of the match.
