Saudi club Al-Ahli has decided to support its German coach Matthias Jaissle with 4 signings at once, but outside the boundaries of the green rectangle.

Al-Ahli seeks to continue its successful run in the upcoming season, after achieving an exceptional feat by winning the AFC Champions League Elite title for two consecutive seasons.

To that end, Al-Ahli announced on Tuesday its signing of 4 specialists in sports medicine, physiotherapy, sports science, and physical conditioning, to enhance performance quality and player care.

Al-Ahli clarified in a statement on its official website that the talents included Spanish doctor Simon Bueno Lopez, who joins the club's medical staff after a long career with Spanish club Villarreal.

The list also included Dutch physiotherapist Jesper Gabriels, who worked at Dutch club Vitesse, Saudi club Al-Qadsiah, and the Future Falcons program under the Saudi Arabian Football Federation.

Al-Ahli also signed Luke Garcia, a specialist in sports science and physical conditioning, who worked with American club LA Galaxy, Canadian club Toronto, and Portuguese club Benfica.

The last name was Austrian fitness coach Sebastian Kirchner, who worked with Austrian club Red Bull Salzburg since 2019, in addition to his work with club Liefering, Red Bull Salzburg Academy, and the Olympic training center in Salzburg.

It is worth noting that Al-Ahli will compete for several titles in the upcoming season, most notably the Roshn Saudi League and the King Cup domestically, the AFC Champions League Elite continentally, and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup globally.
