Malang Sarr (from Lens to Neom - Free transfer)

Former Chelsea defender Malang Sarr has joined Saudi Pro League side Neom on a free transfer after leaving Lens.

The Frenchman, who made eight Premier League appearances for the Blues between 2020 and 2024, played 19 Ligue 1 matches last season and helped Lens secure a spot in the 2026-2027 Champions League, but ultimately decided to seek a new start in Saudi Arabia.

Tynan Thompson (from Tottenham to Manchester United - £8m)

Manchester United have moved to snatch a player from a Premier League rival, signing highly-rated young Tottenham winger Tynan Thompson.

The 18-year-old joins the Red Devils for an estimated £8 million, with Spurs negotiating a clause entitling them to 20% of any future sale as part of the deal.

Thompson contributed 13 goals and six assists across Tottenham's youth teams during the 2025-2026 season.

Marcos Leonardo (from Al Hilal to Ajax - £17m)

Al Hilal are closing in on the signing of West Ham winger Crysencio Summerville, with the departure of Marcos Leonardo reportedly approved to make room in the squad for the Dutch international.

Leonardo, who scored an impressive 27 league goals in his two seasons in Saudi Arabia, now joins Dutch side Ajax for a fee reportedly just under £17 million.

Abdul Fatawu (from Leicester City to Ipswich - £20m)

Ipswich are set to return to the Premier League and have bolstered their attacking options by completing the signing of Leicester City winger Abdul Fatawu.

The Ghana international played in all four of Ghana's World Cup matches and now joins Ipswich Town for £20 million after a 2025-2026 season in which he scored nine goals in the Championship.

Christ Inao Olaye (from Trabzonspor to Fiorentina - £25m)

Fiorentina have strengthened their midfield by signing Christ Inao Olaye from Trabzonspor for £25 million.

Olaye, who made four appearances for Ivory Coast in the 2026 World Cup, will have the chance to test himself in Serie A, leaving the Turkish Süper Lig side after just one season and 25 league appearances.

Francisco Trincão (from Sporting Lisbon to Al Ahli - £34m)

Francisco Trincão is the latest player to head to the Middle East for the Saudi Pro League, as the Sporting Lisbon winger signed a contract with Al Ahli.

The Portuguese international, who made one substitute appearance in the 2026 World Cup, signed a four-year deal and will join English striker Ivan Toney at the Jeddah-based club.

Tarik Muharemovic (from Sassuolo to Leeds United - £34m)

Leeds United have moved quickly to replace Pascal Struijk after his transfer to Premier League rivals Brighton, signing Sassuolo defender Tarik Muharemovic.

The Bosnia international made three appearances at the 2026 World Cup, receiving a red card in the 4-1 defeat to Switzerland, and now joins Leeds for £34 million, just shy of the club's transfer record set by the signing of Georginio Rutter.

João Gomes (from Wolverhampton to Aston Villa - £38m)

Wolves' relegation to the Championship made player sales inevitable, and João Gomes is the latest to leave Molineux.

The Brazilian made 130 appearances in all competitions for Wolves, but opted to move to their Midlands rivals, with Aston Villa paying £38 million to sign the 25-year-old midfielder.

Aston Villa have effectively secured a replacement for Morgan Rogers after announcing the signing of Johann Manzambi from Freiburg.

The 20-year-old forward was close to joining Newcastle before Aston Villa intervened, with the £50 million fee for Manzambi, who showed glimpses of his talent for Switzerland at the 2026 World Cup, representing a club record.
