Al-Diriyah Club has moved closer to finalizing a new deal in the summer transfer market, after reaching an agreement with French club FC Metz to sign Senegalese talent Alpha Toure, a step aimed at strengthening the squad ahead of the upcoming season.

According to French newspaper L'Équipe, the deal is worth around 7 million euros, indicating Al-Diriyah's trend toward investing in young talents, but its completion is still contingent on winning the competition with English side West Ham United, which has shown interest in signing the player during the current period.

On the preparations front, Al-Diriyah has set a busy schedule of friendly matches during its foreign camp. It begins its matches in Sweden against Trelleborg on July 18, before facing Danish side FA 2000 on July 23. The team then moves to Spain to continue its camp, where it will face Qatari side Al Rayyan on July 30, then Emirati side Al Ain on August 2, which also marks the return of the team delegation to Riyadh. Al-Diriyah concludes its preparations for the new season with a match against Al-Khulood on August 8, the final friendly test before starting its campaign in the Saudi Roshn League.
