Bahraini researcher Dr. Maha Hameed Al-Dakhil and Saudi researcher Dr. Mohammed bin Mufleh published a peer-reviewed scientific research paper in the peer-reviewed scientific journal affiliated with the Department of Media and Communication at King Saud University in Riyadh, titled: (The Impact of Incorporating Artificial Intelligence in Media Curricula on Labor Market Requirements: A Field Study on Media Students in the Kingdom of Bahrain). The study came within the framework of the growing interest in developing media curricula to keep pace with rapid digital transformations, targeting media students (Bahrainis and Saudis) studying at public and private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain, with the aim of measuring the level of integration of artificial intelligence skills in academic curricula and the extent of students' readiness to meet the requirements of the media labor market. The researchers adopted the quantitative descriptive approach through an electronic questionnaire applied to media students. The results of the study showed that the level of integration of artificial intelligence skills in media curricula at universities was high, reflecting the academic institutions' interest in keeping pace with technical developments in the media sector. The results also indicated that media students possess a high level of readiness for labor market requirements related to artificial intelligence applications, especially in the fields of media innovation, data analysis, and digital content production, contributing to the development of students' knowledge, skills, and professional values. The two researchers recommended the necessity of continuing to update the curricula of media colleges in universities, incorporating specialized courses in artificial intelligence applications, along with intensifying practical training and enhancing partnerships with media institutions to ensure the preparation of media personnel capable of keeping pace with digital transformations and meeting future labor market needs. The study received praise from the scientific committee and academic reviewers at King Saud University, who commended the scientific rigor of the research, the accuracy of the research methodology, and the depth of the findings, affirming its contribution to developing academic and professional aspects and anticipating the future of preparing and qualifying young people to keep pace with the rapid transformations in the digital media sector and the labor market.
