With the release of the new iOS 14 operating system update, Apple brought a new feature that hasn't yet spread among all users called Back Tap, which as its name suggests allows you to turn the back of your iPhone into a large button that supports tapping.

You can activate the Back Tap feature from the Accessibility menu in Settings, and with it you can program it to do several things depending on the number of taps. The feature allows you to open the app switcher interface, the notification list, or Control Center, and if you are browsing the web, you can move within the page, activate Siri, or even take a screenshot.

The feature also allows integration with the Shortcuts app to provide you with many more options, as if you had new buttons on your iPhone. You can set it for double, triple, or more taps, and for each type of programming, it executes specific commands.

It is worth mentioning that Google also tested something similar in Android 11, but with fewer options and it did not make it to the final version.
