Galaxy S26 sales exceed 3 million units in Korea in record time
Samsung's Galaxy S26 series has achieved strong success in its domestic market of South Korea, with sales surpassing the 3 million unit mark in just three months after launch, thus outperforming sales of the Galaxy S25 series in the same period.
According to a report from EInfoMax, Samsung sold more than 3 million units of the Galaxy S26 series within 117 days, making it the fastest to achieve this figure among Galaxy flagship phones.
The report indicates that about 70% of pre-orders were for the Galaxy S26 Ultra model, which saw particular demand in South Korea and the United States.
For comparison, it took about six months for the Galaxy S25 series to surpass the 3 million unit sales mark in Korea, after its launch in February 2025 and reaching that figure in August of the same year.
Analysts attribute this strong performance to features such as the privacy screen and improvements in the Galaxy AI experience, while Samsung maintained a competitive pricing policy.
The S26 series was introduced as Samsung's third-generation AI series, integrating more Galaxy AI features to run directly on the device rather than relying on cloud services.
