The National Center for Meteorology warned today of a heat wave with temperatures reaching (49–50) degrees Celsius, accompanied by active winds in the Eastern Region, including the cities of Dammam and Dhahran, and the governorates of Hafar Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Jubail, Ras Tanura, Al-Qatif, Al-Khobar, Buqayq, Al-Addid, Dha'balouten, Al-Ahsa, and their affiliated villages and centers, causing dust storms and reducing horizontal visibility to (3–5) km on highways and open areas.

The center stated that this condition will continue – by the will of God – until 7:00 PM.
