The National Center of Meteorology expects in its report on today's weather that maximum temperatures will remain high in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern Region, with the continued impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand in parts of those areas, in addition to parts of Riyadh and Najran regions and the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

The report indicated the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of Makkah Region.

Red Sea: Surface winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 15 to 40 km/h in the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 25 to 55 km/h in the middle and southern parts. Wave height ranges from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the northern part, and from 1.5 to 2.5 meters in the middle and southern parts, with moderate sea state in the north and moderate to rough in the middle and south.

Arabian Gulf: Northwesterly to westerly winds at speeds of 15 to 45 km/h in the northern and middle parts, and southwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10 to 30 km/h in the southern part. Wave height ranges from 1 to 2 meters in the northern and middle parts, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the southern part, with moderate sea state in the north and middle, and light to moderate in the south.
