The National Center for Meteorology expects hot weather to continue on Tuesday in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, with continued active winds raising dust and sand in parts of those areas, in addition to Riyadh, Najran, and the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands.

The center also indicated the possibility of thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al Baha, extending to the southern parts of the Makkah highlands.

Madinah recorded the highest expected temperature at 47°C, followed by Makkah at 46°C, while the maximum temperature reached 45°C in both Riyadh and Dammam, and 41°C in Jeddah, whereas Abha recorded 33°C.

In the marine forecast, the center explained that winds over the Red Sea will be northwest to west at speeds of 15 to 55 km/h, with waves reaching up to 2.5 meters in the southern part. Winds over the Arabian Gulf will be northwest to west at speeds of 10 to 45 km/h, with waves up to 2 meters, and sea state ranging from light to moderate waves.
