The National Center of Meteorology revealed the weather forecast for Wednesday 8-2-1448 in the Kingdom, with chances still present for thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds over parts of Makkah, Al-Bahah, Asir and Jazan regions, extending to parts of Najran region. Meanwhile, the weather remains hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Region and parts of Riyadh and Madinah regions.

Active winds stirring up dust and sand continue to affect parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jawf, Tabuk regions, and the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom.

Weather forecast for Wednesday

Regarding the Red Sea forecast, surface winds will be active: northwesterly to westerly over the northern part, northwesterly to southwesterly over the central part at 15-45 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 12-34 km/h reaching 50 km/h with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.

Waves will range from 1 to 2 meters over the northern part, and from 1 to 2 meters reaching above 2.5 meters during early morning hours over the central part, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters reaching above 2 meters with the formation of rainy thunderclouds over the southern part.
