The National Center of Meteorology, in its weather report for Wednesday across the Kingdom's regions, expects the weather to remain hot to extremely hot in the Eastern Region and parts of Riyadh and Madinah regions. The effect of active winds raising dust and sand continues in parts of those areas, as well as parts of the Northern Border, Al-Jouf, and Tabuk regions, and the eastern parts of the western and southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Meanwhile, the chance remains for thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds in parts of Makkah, Al-Baha, Asir, and Jazan regions, extending to parts of Najran region.

Red Sea

Surface winds: Northwesterly to westerly in the northern part, northwesterly to southwesterly in the central part at 15-45 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly at 12-34 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h with rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part.

Wave height: From 1 to 2 meters in the northern part, from 1 to 2 meters reaching over 2.5 meters in the early morning hours in the central part, and from 0.5 to 1.5 meters reaching over 2 meters with rain-bearing thunderclouds in the southern part.

Eastern Region Weather

The National Center of Meteorology, in its weather report, warned of the continuation of the heat wave and raised dust in the Eastern Region on Wednesday. The heat wave starts at 11 a.m. and continues until 5 p.m. in Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Al-Ahsa, Al-Adid, Buqayq, Khafji, Nairyah, and Qaryat al-Ulya. It is accompanied by high temperatures of (47–48) degrees Celsius.

Parts of the Eastern Region experience raised dust from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The warning includes: Jubail, Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Al-Ahsa, Al-Adid, Buqayq, Khafji, Nairyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, and Hafar al-Batin. The accompanying effects are: active winds reaching speeds of 40–49 km/h, and reduced horizontal visibility (3–5) km.
