The National Center of Meteorology expects in its report on the weather condition today, Tuesday, in the regions of the Kingdom, that maximum temperatures will remain high in parts of Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, while the impact of active winds stirring up dust and sand will continue in parts of those regions, as well as parts of Riyadh and Najran regions, and the eastern parts of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. Meanwhile, the opportunity is ripe for thunderstorm rainfall accompanied by active winds in parts of Jazan, Asir, and Al-Baha regions, extending to the southern parts of the highlands of Makkah region.

Red Sea

Surface winds: northwesterly to westerly at 15-40 km/h on the northern part, and northwesterly to northerly at 25-55 km/h on the central and southern parts.

Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters on the northern part, and from one and a half meters to two and a half meters on the central and southern parts.

Sea state: moderate waves on the northern part, and moderate to rough waves on the central and southern parts.

Arabian Gulf

Wave height: from one to two meters on the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters on the southern part.

Sea state: moderate waves on the northern and central parts, and light to moderate waves on the southern part.

Tuesday Weather

The National Center of Meteorology warned in its report about the weather condition of a heat wave, active winds, and stirred up dust in the Eastern Region today, Tuesday. The heat wave starts at 11 am and continues until 5 pm. The alert includes: Al-Khafji, Al-Nu'ayriyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Al-Ahsa, Buqayq, Al-Udayd, and Dhu'ablutun. It is accompanied by a rise in temperatures from (49-50) degrees Celsius.

Parts of the Eastern Region will experience active winds from 9 am until 7 pm. The alert includes: Jubail, Al-Khobar, Dammam, Qatif, and Ras Tanura. The associated impacts are reduced horizontal visibility, high waves, and winds reaching speeds of (40-49) km/h. Meanwhile, Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Al-Khafji, Al-Nu'ayriyah, Qaryat al-Ulya, Hafr al-Batin, and Buqayq are expected to have stirred up dust from 10 am until 8 pm. This is accompanied by winds reaching speeds of 50-59 km/h, and near zero horizontal visibility (1-3 km).
