A 5-magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale struck southeast Turkey, according to Al Arabiya.

The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority reported that the earthquake occurred at 6:20 a.m. local time, with its epicenter in the Battalgazi district at a depth of 15.59 kilometers.

The tremor was felt by residents of the neighboring provinces of Elazığ, Adıyaman, Tunceli, and Şanlıurfa, while no casualties or material damage have been recorded according to initial information.
