Rescuers in Venezuela continue search for missing and victims of the two earthquakes _ AFP

Caracas, July 09 (QNA) - Venezuelan authorities announced today that the death toll from the two earthquakes that struck the country on June 24 has risen to 3,811. Jorge Rodriguez, President of the National Assembly of Venezuela, said in a statement that rescue teams have managed to rescue 6,462 people since the earthquakes occurred. Two earthquakes, measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude, occurred 39 seconds apart and particularly affected northern Venezuela.
