Lebanon's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that the toll of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 4,322 dead and 12,210 wounded since last March 2.
The ministry's Health Emergency Operations Center said in a statement that the cumulative toll of the aggression reached '4,322 dead and 12,210 wounded.'
This means one death and six injuries were recorded in 48 hours, as the toll on Thursday was 4,321 dead and 12,204 wounded, in addition to the displacement of more than one million people.
Israel continues its aggression against Lebanon despite the two countries signing a 'framework agreement' under U.S. auspices last June 26, and Tel Aviv's announcement on Tuesday of holding a round of negotiations with Beirut in the Italian capital Rome next week.
Israel occupies areas in southern Lebanon, some for decades and others since the previous war between 2023 and 2024, and has advanced more than ten kilometers during the current aggression.
Israel also continues to occupy Palestinian and Syrian territories, refuses to withdraw from them, and rejects the establishment of an independent Palestinian state, according to relevant UN resolutions.
