Several explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv on Saturday night, according to AFP correspondents.
A journalist from the agency noted that one of the explosions was so powerful that it set off car alarms parked in the city center.

The Ukrainian Air Force said in a Telegram post that ballistic missiles were heading towards Kyiv.
