Iran Calls on Citizens to Reduce Electricity Consumption After US Strikes
Iran's Energy Ministry called on citizens on Friday to reduce electricity consumption, after the network came under pressure following US strikes on energy facilities in the south of the country.
The ministry urged residents in a statement to turn off air conditioning units during peak hours 'to help ensure stable electricity supply in southern provinces that are currently experiencing extreme heat and attacks on power supply facilities.'
