The conference aims to shed light on Israeli policies of forced displacement and dispossession of the Palestinian people in the city of Jerusalem through the accelerating pace of Judaization, in the context of ongoing policies and practices in the rest of the occupied Palestinian territory, especially in light of the continuing war in the Gaza Strip and the accompanying large-scale attacks and forced displacement of Palestinian civilians.

Rights of the Palestinian People

The conference will review the support of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People for taking international action to relaunch the peace process in the Middle East on the basis of international law and relevant UN resolutions, leading to a just, comprehensive, and sustainable peace that guarantees the establishment of an independent State of Palestine on the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
