Earlier, the US President said Monday that the United States is "in the process of taking control" of the Strait of Hormuz. This comes as rising tensions over the strategic waterway threaten to undermine efforts to reach a definitive end to the war in the Middle East. Trump said in an interview with Fox News, "We are in the process of taking control of the strait, they have nothing," while criticizing the tactics of Iranian negotiators who seek to make changes to what was agreed upon hours into the talks "yesterday."
