"Umm Al Emarat Endowment" achieves the largest endowment donation for orphans globally
The "Umm Al Emarat Endowment for Orphans" campaign, launched by the General Authority for Endowments and Minors' Funds Management "Awqaf Abu Dhabi" under the patronage of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, during the holy month of Ramadan, achieved a new global milestone by securing a Guinness World Record for the "Largest amount raised for an endowment campaign for orphans in one month".
"Awqaf Abu Dhabi" celebrated this exceptional achievement at an event attended by senior officials, partners, and supporters.
The world record was the culmination of the campaign's exceptional success, which managed to raise 3.3 billion dirhams during its duration, reflecting the wide community engagement with its humanitarian message and goal of providing a sustainable endowment funding source for orphan care, granting them a more stable future and better quality of life, and contributing to building a more cohesive and sustainable society.
This exceptional achievement embodies the values of solidarity and mutual support that characterize UAE society, and also confirms the great confidence in endowment initiatives as a sustainable development model capable of transforming community contributions into long-term impact that benefits future generations.

He explained that the endowment returns will be allocated to support orphans in the areas of education, healthcare, and quality of life, ensuring continuity of support and achieving long-term developmental impact.
