Arab National Bank's net profit rose 6.5% in the second quarter of 2026, reaching approximately SAR 1.423 billion, compared to a net profit of about SAR 1.336 billion in the same quarter of 2025.

On a quarterly basis, the bank's net profit increased by 4.7% in Q2 2026, compared to a net profit of about SAR 1.359 billion in Q1 2026.

The bank attributed, in a statement on 'Saudi Tadawul', the quarterly profit increase year-on-year mainly to an increase in net gains from financial instruments measured at fair value through profit or loss, net gains from sale of investments held for non-trading purposes, net foreign exchange translation gains, in addition to other operating income and net special commission income.

The bank noted a decline in net expected credit loss allowance and other provisions by 16.7% to about SAR 180 million.

The bank stated that this was offset by an increase in salaries and employee-related expenses, an increase in other general and administrative expenses, depreciation, amortization and premises-related expenses, in addition to a decline in dividend income, net trading income and net fees and commissions.

During the first half of the current year, Arab National Bank's net profit rose 5.4% to about SAR 2.78 billion, compared to a net profit of about SAR 2.64 billion in the first half of 2025.
