Economic / Riyadh to host 'IECE 2026' conference next December under the slogan 'We shape the future and innovate solutions'

Riyadh, Safar 7, 1448 AH (July 21, 2026) — SPA: The city of Riyadh will host from December 14 to 16 the fourth edition of the International Engineering Conference 'IECE 2026', organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers, with participation of leaders, experts and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom, under the patronage of the Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Mr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Haqeel. The conference comes amid the rapid development of the engineering sector in the Kingdom, the expansion of development projects, and the growing presence of modern technologies and artificial intelligence in engineering works; it brings together local and international expertise, discusses the most prominent challenges of the sector, and presents quality engineering solutions and experiences. The Secretary-General of the Saudi Council of Engineers, Musaid bin Abdullah Al-Otaibi, affirmed that the fourth edition focuses on moving from discussing challenges to proposing solutions, and creating a space that brings together expertise and competencies to exchange knowledge and develop engineering ideas and practices, noting that the conference includes six main tracks, dialogue sessions, scientific papers and workshops, in addition to an accompanying exhibition, an area for innovation and technical experiments, and a platform for agreements and launches. The fourth edition of the conference builds on a legacy that saw over 50,000 participants in previous editions, with 1,200 scientific papers presented, participation of 70 government and private entities, and more than 25 workshops. The Saudi Council of Engineers invited specialists and those interested in the engineering sector from inside and outside the Kingdom to follow the conference updates and participate in the activities of its fourth edition.
