Arsenal, competing in the English Premier League, announced today, Thursday, the signing of Greek striker Christos Tzolis from Belgian club Club Brugge on a long-term contract.

British media reported that Tzolis (24) joined the north London-based club for £34 million ($45.40 million) in the most expensive deal in the Belgian Pro League.

The player said in a statement: 'I think I need some time to take it all in! It is absolutely amazing to sign with a big club like this, the champions of England. I am very proud to be part of this team for the upcoming season.'

Tzolis joins Arsenal following a remarkable two-year spell with Club Brugge, where he played 108 matches in all competitions, scoring 43 goals and providing 45 assists.

He helped his team win the Belgian Cup in 2025, and was awarded the Belgian Pro League Player of the Year this season after the team clinched the league title.

The Greek international started his career with PAOK in Greece before moving to Norwich City in 2021.

He played 14 matches in the English Premier League before moving to Belgium in 2024.

Internationally, Tzolis represented Greece at various youth levels before making his senior debut in October 2020, going on to earn 34 international caps.
