The joint field campaigns to monitor and apprehend violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations in all regions of the Kingdom, during the period from 17 to 23 Muharram 1448 AH, corresponding to July 2 to 8, 2026, resulted in the apprehension of 15,430 violators.

The competent authorities clarified that the violators included 7,913 violators of the residency system, 4,037 violators of the border security system, and 3,480 violators of the labor system.

Apprehension of border crossing attempts. In the same context, 1,542 individuals were apprehended while attempting to cross the border into the Kingdom illegally, with Yemenis accounting for 46%, Ethiopians 53%, and other nationalities 1%. Additionally, security authorities apprehended 30 individuals for attempting to cross the border out of the Kingdom illegally.

Procedures against those involved and violators. The report indicated the apprehension of 27 individuals involved in transporting, harboring, employing, or covering up for system violators. The total number of violators currently being subjected to system enforcement procedures is 29,286, including 27,127 men and 2,159 women.

The competent authorities added that 17,353 violators have been referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, 5,438 violators have been referred to complete travel booking procedures, and 11,800 violators have been deported.

Warnings from the Ministry of Interior. The Ministry of Interior affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security system violators, transports them, provides shelter, or offers any kind of assistance to them, exposes themselves to penalties of up to 15 years in prison and a fine of up to one million riyals, in addition to confiscation of the means of transport or housing used, and public exposure.

The Ministry clarified that this crime is considered a major crime that requires arrest and is prejudicial to honor and trustworthiness, and called for reporting any violations via number 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 and 996 in other regions.
