500 Beneficiaries of the 'Aqwam' Program to Enhance Ethics of Quran Memorizers in the Eastern Region - Al-Yaum

Hidaya Association for Dawah, Guidance, and Community Awareness in the Eastern Region, in partnership with the Learn and Memorize Association of the Eastern Region, launched the 'Aqwam' program targeting more than 500 beneficiaries from Quran memorization circle students to enhance the ethics of Quran memorizers, solidify the connection between memorizing the Holy Book and acting upon its values and etiquette, and build a Quranic character that combines knowledge and conduct.

The program is held in 5 mosques and is presented by 3 sheikhs through educational meetings and interactive activities that focus on instilling Islamic values, developing responsibility, and translating the meanings of the Holy Quran into daily behavior and practices, contributing to raising a Quranic generation that carries the Book of Allah in knowledge, action, and character.

Enhancing Youth Values

The Executive Director of Hidaya Association, Naif Al-Hedi, affirmed that the program is part of the association's efforts to provide qualitative educational initiatives that enhance values and invest in youth's time for their benefit in religion and behavior. He said, 'Through the 'Aqwam' program, we seek to make the Holy Quran present in the ethics and behavior of our children, not just in their memorization, and to contribute to building a generation that translates the meanings of the Quran into a reality they live in their daily lives. The 'Aqwam' program is an extension of the partnership between Hidaya Association, Learn Association, and the Holy Quran Memorization Association in the Eastern Region in implementing advocacy and educational initiatives aimed at human development, enhancing values, and consolidating the message of the Holy Quran in the individual and society.'
