Al-Badia Municipality hosted a meeting of the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, for local community empowerment, to discuss ways to enhance community empowerment and identify development priorities that contribute to improving the quality of life and achieving sustainable development.

The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Al-Badia, Engineer Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Maadi; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Badia Development Association, Shanar bin Amer Al Shakra; Head of the Northern Al-Badia Center, Nawaf bin Daghash Al Sababira; Representative of the Reef Association, Mohammed Abu Qutish; and Head of the Primary Health Care Center in Al-Badia, Mohammed bin Amer Al Shakra.

Participants discussed the most prominent development needs and priorities of the local community, and explored opportunities for integration between government entities and the non-profit sector to support community initiatives, enhance active participation, and achieve development goals in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

The attendees emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation among various relevant parties to ensure the implementation of qualitative initiatives that meet the needs of the local community and contribute to its development and improvement of quality of life.
