Riyadh, 07 Safar 1448 AH corresponding to July 21, 2026 AD SPA -- His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, received at his office in Al-Hukm Palace today Governor of Shaqra Adel bin Abdullah Al-Bowardi, accompanied by Director of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's office in the governorate Mohammed bin Abdullah Abahussain. His Highness watched a visual presentation on the Shaqra Pepper Festival, which is being held in its sixth edition under the patronage and directives of His Highness the Governor of Riyadh Region, and its accompanying events. His Highness was briefed on the objectives, programs, activities and accompanying events of the festival, which will launch the day after tomorrow, Thursday, at the Municipal Hall for Celebrations and Conferences in Shaqra Governorate and will last for ten days. The Governor of Shaqra expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Governor of the Region for his patronage of the festival, and the support of his deputy and their keenness to enhance the status of the governorate in the comprehensive and sustainable development march in the region, stressing that this support and care from Their Highnesses embodies the interest of the wise leadership - may God support them - in supporting everything that contributes to the development of the nation and the citizen, and enhancing local production that abounds in various regions of the Kingdom.
