The General Directorate of Border Guard concluded the awareness exhibition on maritime safety, correct practices, and reducing drowning risks, at the Nakheel Mall in Riyadh.
The exhibition reviewed the Border Guard's instructions and regulations for beachgoers, and penalties for swimming in non-designated areas.

It also reviewed safety guidelines to follow when going to sea, and the Border Guard's efforts in search and rescue, and ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing. The General Directorate of Border Guard called on beach and sea goers to adhere to instructions and guidelines, and to call 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, and 994 in the rest of the Kingdom, to request assistance in emergencies.
