Riyadh, Safar 04, 1448 AH, corresponding to July 18, 2026, SPA — The General Directorate of Border Guard today concluded the awareness exhibition on marine safety, correct practices, and reducing drowning risks, at the Nakheel Mall in Riyadh. The exhibition showcased the Border Guard's instructions and regulations for beachgoers, penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas, safety guidelines to be followed when going to the sea, the Border Guard's efforts in search and rescue, and ensuring the safety of marine vessels before sailing. The General Directorate of Border Guard called on beach and sea visitors to adhere to instructions and guidelines, and to call numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, and (994) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, to request assistance in emergencies.
