The Mayor of Asir Region, Abdullah Al-Jali, announced that the municipality has started using body cameras for inspectors to document monitoring visits.

The Mayor of Asir explained in a post on 'X' today (Tuesday) that body cameras will accompany field monitoring teams, ensuring the protection of the rights of the beneficiary and the inspector, enhancing transparency and accountability, and improving performance quality.

Body cameras are a pivotal tool for monitors and inspectors to document monitoring visits in the field, as they ensure recording evidence with audio and video, protect the rights of both the inspector and the client, enhance the principle of transparency and accountability, in addition to their effective role in deterring violations and attacks during the performance of tasks.
