Patrols of the General Directorate of Mujahideen in the Jazan region arrested a Saudi citizen for transporting two Ethiopian violators of the border security system inside the Kingdom. Legal procedures were taken against all parties, and the violators were referred to the competent authority, while the transporter was referred to the Public Prosecution.

The official spokesman for the General Directorate of Mujahideen affirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of border security violators into the Kingdom, transports them inside it, provides them with shelter, or offers them any form of assistance, exposes themselves to strict penalties including:

- Imprisonment for up to 15 years.

- A fine of up to one million riyals.

- Confiscation of the vehicle and residence used for sheltering.

- Public shaming of the offender.

The spokesman explained that this crime is classified as a major offense warranting arrest and one that violates honor and trust. He emphasized the importance of reporting violators of residency, labor, and border security regulations via the designated numbers: 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 and 996 in the rest of the Kingdom's regions, stressing that all reports are treated with complete confidentiality without any liability on the reporter.
