The Madinah Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), organized a workshop titled: 'Environmental Guidance Program for the Environmental System and its Executive Regulations', as part of enhancing awareness of environmental regulations and raising the level of compliance with relevant legislation.

The workshop reviewed the role of the National Center for Environmental Compliance Supervision in monitoring the implementation of environmental regulations and laws, and mechanisms to enhance compliance among facilities, contributing to reducing environmental violations and achieving a more sustainable environment.

It covered the key provisions of the Environmental System and its executive regulations, and introduced the regulatory requirements and related procedures, along with highlighting the importance of complying with environmental conditions and their role in protecting natural resources, supporting sustainability targets, and enhancing environmental responsibility across various sectors.
