(CNN)—Officials and public figures in Saudi Arabia and the UAE circulated a photo of Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman with Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Vice President of the UAE, Vice Prime Minister, and Head of the Presidential Court.
The head of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, Turki Al-Sheikh, reposted the photo on his X (formerly Twitter) page, commenting: "A photo bringing together His Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed a few days ago... Saudi Arabia and the UAE are a story of brotherly relations and a deep-rooted partnership."
For his part, Saudi Prince Abdulrahman bin Musaid commented: "The tweet of His Excellency brother Turki Al-Sheikh and media officials in Saudi Arabia and the UAE all confirm what is certain that the relations between Saudi Arabia and the UAE are untouchable, two generous leaderships and two generous peoples... The Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, let him speak good or remain silent.'"
Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to the UAE president, commented on the photo, saying in a post on his X page: "Spears refuse to break when gathered... but when separated, they break one by one."
The head of the National Media Office in the UAE, Abdullah Al Hamed, wrote in a simultaneous post on his X page: "UAE-Saudi relations are an extension of a shared history and deep-rooted brotherly ties between two brotherly peoples united by a common destiny. They are strengthened by wise leadership in both countries moving forward with close coordination and a clear vision toward a future that brings good to our peoples and region... The role of responsible media is to reflect this reality objectively and confront any attempts to harm it."
