Jeddah, 22 Muharram 1448 AH corresponding to July 7, 2026, SPA — His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired the Cabinet session held today in Jeddah. During the session, the Cabinet reviewed the overall work of the state in recent days, particularly related to strengthening bilateral relations with brotherly and friendly countries on various fronts, intensifying joint coordination to serve international peace and security, contribute to addressing global issues and challenges, and pave the way for further development and prosperity. Minister of Media, Mr. Salman bin Yousef Al-Dosari, in his statement to the Saudi Press Agency after the session, stated that the Cabinet commended the active participation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation in the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Week, which included affirmation of commitment to close cooperation with international organizations and their relevant bodies to combat this scourge, eradicate it at its roots, dry up its funding sources, and support efforts to confront terrorist threats to build a safe and stable future. The Cabinet welcomed the unanimous adoption by the United Nations Human Rights Council at its 62nd session of a resolution submitted by the Kingdom on "Empowering Women in the Field of Cybersecurity," stemming from the global initiative launched by His Highness the Crown Prince in this regard, strengthening its objectives at the international level, and embodying its vision through tangible practical steps. The Cabinet affirmed that the Kingdom's achievement of first place globally in the 2026 Telecommunications and Technology Development Index issued by the International Telecommunication Union reflects the continuous development of infrastructure and regulatory environment supporting international leadership in the future of technology and artificial intelligence, amid the accelerating growth of the Saudi digital economy, which has solidified its position as the largest market in the Middle East and North Africa region. The Cabinet considered the election of the Kingdom as President of the Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization for the second consecutive time as an extension of its leading role in supporting this sector at regional and international levels, and its effective contributions and initiatives in developing the air transport industry. His Excellency stated that the Cabinet appreciated the World Bank's praise of the regulatory sandbox for artificial intelligence in education in the Kingdom as a pioneering model and an international reference for developing higher quality and sustainable digital education, and employing modern technologies and empowering educational bodies and innovators to find practical solutions in this field. Domestically, the Cabinet reviewed the general performance indicators of a number of strategic and vital sectors, commending in this context the non-profit sector's continued achievement of its developmental targets at an accelerated pace, recording growth in the contribution of non-profit organizations to the gross domestic product, with the number of non-profit organizations rising to more than 7,200 by the end of 2025, and the number of volunteers reaching 1.7 million. The Cabinet examined the topics on its agenda, including topics that the Shura Council participated in studying, and reviewed the outcomes of the Political and Security Affairs Council, the Economic and Development Affairs Council, the General Committee of the Cabinet, and the Experts Committee of the Cabinet on these topics. The Cabinet decided the following: First: Approval of an agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the governments of Hungary, Kazakhstan and Poland regarding exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic, service and special passports. Second: Approval of a memorandum of understanding between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Singapore on cooperation in the field of social development. Third: Authorizing His Royal Highness, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission, or his delegate, to negotiate with the Canadian side on a draft memorandum of understanding between the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission for exchanging information in the fields of nuclear and radiological regulation, and to sign it. Fourth: Authorizing His Royal Highness, Minister of Culture, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Museums Authority, or his delegate, to negotiate with the Omani side on a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of museums between the Museums Authority in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the National Museum in the Sultanate of Oman, and to sign it. Fifth: Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Ministry of Justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Justice in the Republic of Turkey. Sixth: Approval of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of future of modern transport methods between the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility in the Kingdom of Spain. Seventh: Authorizing the President of the General Auditing Bureau, or his delegate, to negotiate with the Mauritanian side on a draft memorandum of understanding between the General Auditing Bureau in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Court of Accounts in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania for cooperation in the field of accounting, auditing and professional work, and to sign it. Eighth: Establishing a unified national visa platform at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which will be the approved national platform. Ninth: Appointing Engineer Hatim bin Abdul Razzaq Al-Draeaan, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdul Karim Al-Turki, Mr. Abdullah bin Saeed Al-Ghamdi, Mr. Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Mulhim, and Mr. Mohammed bin Khaled Al-Khudair as members of the Board of Directors of the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation. Tenth: Approval of the final accounts of the Real Estate Development Fund, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, and the universities of Umm Al-Qura, Jeddah, Hail, King Abdulaziz, and Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University for previous fiscal years. Eleventh: Directing as necessary concerning a number of topics on the Cabinet's agenda, including annual reports of the Royal Commission for AlUla Governorate, the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Development Authority, and King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.
