The General Authority for Real Estate announced, during the activities of the Third Real Estate Brokerage Forum, the launch of the Real Estate Brokerage Levels Pathway as the updated qualification pathway linked to issuing real estate brokerage licenses, provided by the Saudi Real Estate Institute; with the aim of raising the efficiency of real estate brokers, improving services provided to clients, and building a professional qualification journey that keeps pace with market development and practice requirements.

The official spokesperson of the Authority, Taisir Al-Mufarrij, explained that passing the foundational level will be a requirement for issuing or renewing the "Fal" license for real estate brokerage and marketing for the first time, thereby enhancing the practitioner's readiness and raising their professional efficiency.

He pointed out that the foundational level includes a set of training programs offered remotely, with the possibility of enrolling independently and in a flexible order, and the trainee receives an independent certificate for each program that is valid for one year from the date of issuance.

He clarified that completing the training programs is followed by a comprehensive in-person test conducted at test centers affiliated with the National Center for Assessment; to verify the trainee's readiness to practice real estate activity, and measure their knowledge of regulatory knowledge and professional skills according to a unified standard.

In a related context, the Authority announced the launch of the Diploma in Real Estate Systems and Legislation in cooperation with the Institute of Public Administration; with the aim of preparing specialized cadres in the regulatory and legislative aspects related to the real estate sector, and enhancing professional knowledge of systems, contracts, and obligations regulating real estate activities.

The official spokesperson affirmed that the diploma is offered as an optional specialized pathway independent of the qualification requirements for obtaining the "Fal" license, and is not included in the conditions for issuing or renewing the license, noting that both pathways come within the efforts to develop professional capacities in the sector and raise the efficiency of practitioners, in a way that preserves the rights of stakeholders and improves the beneficiary experience in the real estate market.
