The Municipality of Samtah Governorate continues to carry out road and street maintenance and improvement works in several neighborhoods and sites, as part of its plans to raise the efficiency of infrastructure, improve the quality of municipal services, enhance traffic safety, and upgrade the urban landscape, in line with development and quality of life goals. The works include asphalt treatments and road maintenance in the neighborhoods of Maja'ar, Hakamat Al-Dagharir, and Hizam Al-Dagharir, as well as the Electricity Company Road and the entrance to Qa'im Al-Utnah, where field teams carry out the work according to operational programs aimed at addressing damaged sites, raising the efficiency of the road network, and improving its readiness to serve residents and road users. Addressing Deterioration: The municipality explained that the maintenance works are part of its periodic programs to preserve road quality and extend their operational life, by addressing deterioration and improving pavement efficiency, which contributes to enhancing traffic safety, raising the level of traffic flow, and meeting the requirements of urban growth witnessed in the governorate. Phased Plans: The municipality affirmed that road maintenance is one of the main axes in its service plans, due to its role in developing infrastructure, improving the urban landscape, and raising the quality of life, which reflects on the level of services provided to residents and visitors, and enhances the efficiency of the transport network within the governorate. It indicated the continuation of maintenance and improvement works according to phased plans that include monitoring the readiness of roads and streets, and addressing observations promptly, to achieve the highest quality standards, and provide a safer, more efficient, and sustainable road network to serve the community.
