Saudi Red Crescent responded to more than 1.4 million emergency calls in 2025, achieving a 24% pulse return rate and responding to 45.4% of calls within eight minutes, with a 94.8% satisfaction rate.
The Saudi Red Crescent Authority recorded remarkable progress in developing its emergency medical system during 2025, according to its annual report, as it responded to more than 1.4 million reports, thereby enhancing response speed and expanding services within the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
The report explained that the Authority succeeded in increasing medical response efficiency, achieving a pulse return rate of 24%, and responding to 45.4% of emergency reports within the first eight minutes, which positively impacted survival chances. The Authority also achieved a beneficiary satisfaction rate of 94.8% for the services provided.
Digital Transformation and Volunteer Work
On the digital transformation side, the Authority continued to expand the use of technical solutions to support its emergency services. The 'Mustaajib' app handled more than 48,740 reports, contributing to faster access to specialized care and improving coordination efficiency among emergency teams.
The report highlighted the growth of volunteer work within the system. The number of male and female volunteers reached 326,874 in 2025, while the number of new volunteers exceeded 103,000, an unprecedented figure reflecting increased community awareness of the importance of volunteering in supporting emergency response and participating in national seasons.
Field Efforts and Institutional Excellence
The report also reviewed the Authority's efforts during the Hajj season 1446 AH, where it implemented integrated operational plans relying on qualified personnel and modern technologies, contributing to providing highly efficient services to the guests of Allah.
In the same context, the Authority continued to enhance institutional quality and won the King Abdulaziz Quality Award in its seventh cycle (Bronze Level), confirming its commitment to continuous improvement and service elevation.
Future Strategy and Humanitarian Impact
The report noted that these achievements represent an extension of the Authority's development journey over the past years, culminating in the achievement of the 2021–2025 strategy goals, while outlining a new strategy for 2026–2028 focusing on system development, enhancing integration, and investing in digital innovation.
The report affirmed that the efforts of 2025 embody the Authority's humanitarian impact in saving lives and enhancing rapid access to those in need, and empowering the community to contribute to the emergency response system, reflecting its humanitarian mission and national role in serving community safety.
