Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry: We condemn in the strongest terms the Iranian attack on a power station
The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the State of Kuwait's condemnation and denunciation, in the strongest terms, of the sinful Iranian aggression that occurred this morning, again targeting a power and water desalination station, in a direct attack on a vital civilian facility.
The Ministry affirmed, in a statement today, that the repeated deliberate targeting of vital and civilian facilities reflects a systematic aggressive approach, represents an extremely dangerous escalation, a serious threat to the safety and security of civilians, and constitutes a flagrant violation of the provisions of international law, international humanitarian law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817, holding Iran fully legally and morally responsible for these serious attacks and their resulting repercussions and consequences.
It stressed that the State of Kuwait reserves its full right to take all necessary measures to preserve its security and defend its territory and vital facilities against any aggression or threat, based on its inherent right to self-defense, in accordance with Article 51 of the United Nations Charter and the rules of international law.
