The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that US naval forces continue to enforce the naval blockade imposed on Iran, confirming that the crew of the guided-missile destroyer USS John Finn (DDG 113) remains alert and vigilant to carry out their assigned missions.

The command clarified that as of July 19, US forces have redirected 6 commercial ships and disabled one vessel, as part of their measures to ensure full compliance with the naval blockade imposed on Iran.

CENTCOM stressed that naval operations continue as part of its efforts to implement US measures in the region and monitor maritime traffic amid the ongoing escalation with Tehran.
