Kuwait's Ministry of Electricity announced that a power and water desalination plant was subjected to an attack for the second time in two days.

The ministry indicated that a fire broke out as a result of the attack on the power plant, and a large number of power generation units were affected, according to Al Arabiya.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Electricity had announced yesterday, Saturday, that two power plants were damaged due to a hostile attack that resulted in a fire in one of the plant components, amid the sinful Iranian aggression against the State of Kuwait.

The ministry added (in a statement) that this necessitated taking precautionary operational measures, including disconnecting a number of generating units, to ensure the safety of the plant and its workers, and to maintain the stability of the electrical system.
