The Kuwaiti army announced on Thursday that air defenses repelled 'hostile' rocket and drone attacks, the fourth targeting the country during the day, against the backdrop of what it described as 'the sinful Iranian aggression'.

The General Staff of the Army said in a statement that air defense systems repelled the attacks, explaining that the sounds of explosions that may be heard in some areas are the result of intercepting 'hostile targets'.

The General Staff called on citizens and residents to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.
