A responsible military source in the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces – the Arab Army announced that the Royal Air Force dealt over the past 24 hours with four missiles and six Iranian drones that targeted the territory of the Kingdom.

The source explained that the air defenses intercepted and shot down three missiles this morning, while the fourth missile fell in a remote uninhabited area, indicating that the six drones were intercepted and shot down yesterday evening, stressing that the operation did not result in any human injuries or material losses.

He added that Royal Engineering Corps teams headed immediately after the operations to the sites of the missile and debris fall, dealt with them, and secured the sites according to the approved technical and security procedures.

The source affirmed that the armed forces continue to monitor Jordanian airspace, and maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to deal with any threat affecting the security of the Kingdom and the safety of its citizens, in accordance with the established rules of engagement.

The General Command of the Armed Forces called on citizens not to approach the sites where objects or debris fell, and to report them immediately to the competent authorities, emphasizing the necessity of obtaining information from official sources and not circulating rumors and unreliable news.
