Kuwait announced that firefighting teams managed, on Tuesday evening, to control a fire that broke out at one of the country's sites.

The General Fire Force said in a post on its account on "X": "The official spokesman for the General Fire Force, Brigadier General Muhammad Badr Ibrahim, announced that 6 firefighting teams, supported by teams from the Kuwaiti Army Fire Force and the National Guard, managed on Tuesday evening to control a fire that broke out at one of the sites in the country."

According to the post, the fire came "after the site was targeted as part of the hostile attacks by the sinful Iranian aggression that targeted the country."

The post added: "Brigadier General Muhammad Badr explained that the firefighting teams, upon arrival, immediately began dealing with the fire, where it was fought and controlled, confirming that no human casualties were recorded and the losses were limited to material damage."

The Kuwaiti Army announced on Tuesday that its forces intercepted a ballistic missile, 5 cruise missiles, and 33 hostile drones.

The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense said in a statement that "the sinful Iranian aggression resulted in the targeting of a number of vital and civilian facilities, and the fall of shrapnel in several sites in the country, causing material damage."

He added that "one of the naval vessels belonging to the Kuwaiti Naval Force was targeted, resulting in the injury of (4) members of the armed forces, who received the necessary medical care and treatment, and their condition is stable."

The statement affirmed the continued performance of the armed forces' tasks and duties with efficiency, within the framework of continuous readiness and constant preparedness, to enhance the security of the nation and preserve the safety of citizens and residents.
