The Kuwaiti army announced on Saturday morning that it is 'currently' intercepting rockets and drones launched from Iran.

The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said that air defenses are 'currently intercepting hostile rocket and drone attacks following the sinful Iranian aggression.'

It added, according to a post by the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on X, that 'any sounds of explosions heard are the result of air defense systems intercepting hostile attacks,' calling on everyone to adhere to the security and safety instructions issued by the competent authorities.

This announcement comes just hours after the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced that air defense systems had intercepted attacks by hostile drones.

The Kuwaiti Army's General Staff said in a statement that sounds of explosions that may be heard in some areas are the result of interception operations carried out by air defense systems against hostile targets.
