The State of Kuwait expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack launched by the Houthi militia on a Saudi ship while sailing in the Red Sea, describing it as a flagrant violation of international law and a direct threat to the security of maritime navigation, international trade, and energy supplies.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed - in a statement published by the Kuwait News Agency - Kuwait's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, standing by its side and supporting all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty and protect its security and interests.

The ministry stressed Kuwait's categorical rejection of any practices that would undermine the security and stability of the region, calling for an immediate halt to these attacks and adherence to the rules of international law that guarantee freedom of navigation and safe passage in international waterways.
