The video shows buildings on fire near Behbahan Airport, located in the northwest of Khuzestan province in central Iran. Although the nature of the target is not clear, Google Maps indicates what it describes as an army radar station in the vicinity.
Iranian media reported strikes targeting several sites in the west and south of the country overnight into Wednesday morning.
Iran's state broadcaster IRIB said air defenses were activated in the capital Tehran, with no immediate reports of damage, and that airstrikes hit the city of Kabudrahang, about 150 miles west of the capital.
The broadcaster added, citing local authorities, that the city of Tabriz in northwestern Iran was also bombed, and strikes were recorded in the cities of Chavar and Abdanan in western Ilam province.
According to the official news agency IRNA, explosions were heard in the cities of Mahshahr and Sirik near the Strait of Hormuz, and in the Gulf city of Bushehr. State media also reported strikes on the coastal cities of Konarak and Chabahar in the southwest.
