US President Donald Trump on Friday warned China and Russia against selling weapons to Iran, expressing confidence in the assurances of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin that they have not done so yet.

Trump stated on Truth Social: "From here, the two major countries that are widely mentioned in the context of Iran, I see that they are not involved. If they do, it would be very bad for them, and certainly not in their interest."

This warning emphasized the potential repercussions on bilateral relations between the US and both China and Russia, should these two countries violate the assurances given regarding not selling weapons to Tehran.
