Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister, Mustafa Numan, told Al Arabiya Al Hadath on Wednesday that Iran is seeking to open the Yemen front forcefully, noting that the entire region is targeted by Tehran and its 'Houthi proxy'.

The numbers disprove the Houthis' claims of a blockade, considering that the group does not believe in peaceful solutions, and cannot continue except in an atmosphere of war and escalation. He affirmed that the Yemeni government has already begun exporting oil, noting that it has given the Houthi group a 'last chance' to engage in a path that leads to ending the crisis, stressing that the country cannot remain in a state of 'neither war nor peace'. He indicated that the government has completed the administrative procedures for unifying the military decision, stressing that the government does not wish to resort to war, but continues to work to serve Yemen's stability and preserve the interests of its people.
